PODCAST: Thankful Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving! There is one word that comes to mind when I think of Thanksgiving and that is gratitude. Throughout the year, we all have a tendency to forget how lucky and grateful we are for all that we have. Thanksgiving is a friendly reminder that being gracious and generous is something we should incorporate into our daily lives, not just one day a year. Thanksgiving is also a great time to reconnect with family and friends to join together and celebrate. 

Let's go back to this word gratitude. Being gracious is often pretty difficult. Most of us, myself included, definitely have trouble giving things up. But as I write this, I am reminded that material possessions are nothing compared to the gifts that Christ has given us: The gift of eternal life, unconditional love, and unrelenting mercy and forgiveness.
